A quick update today. Due to a number of non-painting related issues I've hardly had anytime in the last week to put brush to model. I finally found enough time tonight to complete my Death Guard Praetor and another Command Squad Astartes.
The Praetor isn't heavily ornamented as I think the Pre-Heresy Death Guard weren't huge fans of ornamentation (unlike some other legions). Instead I went for a simple Power Weapon and Plasma Pistol combination and then applied my usual level of muck and weathering to make him look like his brothers.
The Command Squard Astartes is the 2nd of three planned to accompany the Praetor. The third model will be a banner bearer (which I'm already procrastinating about).
