| Another two Astartes completed |

During the odd moments I managed to drag myself away from Dead Space 3 I managed to complete a few more Breacher Astartes. I must admit, I'm getting bored with painting shields (and I'm rethinking whether I'll include another squad) but overall, I'm pleased with these two.

I'm now down the last member of the ten man squad. Here he is after receiving a coat of Burnt Umber oil paint. He looks far too shiny...

I must be getting quicker at painting yellow (it's not like I've not had the practice recently) but I managed to also make a start on my second Mark IV plate tactical squad.

I really love the way you're painting these man! I've actually slightly emulated part of your weathering technique on my latest project, a salamander dreadnought, so thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, don't you think the power fist sergeant looks like he's dancing a happy little jig! Even Astartes enjoy their jobs sometimes!
